Back to School

Everyone is back in the groove although it did take a few days or so to get acclimated to the morning routine. Lauren is really enjoying 3rd grade and she is learning so much. She is also in the advanced reading group. I am proud of her. Her birthday celebration was fun and busy. She is having some friends over this weekend so that will make three birthdays. It has been really nice having our new car. I am getting anxious for football and fall.

It's been a busy summer

Hi everyone, we have been swimming and are pottytraining Jacob. He got a new potty chair and it sings potty songs and he is so funny when he sits on the potty and dances to the songs. To him it is more of a toy. He has done pretty good. He hasn't managed to do anything in it but he is starting to dress himself and tell me when he has to go. I need to do a better job of taking him and sitting him on it more often. I also think m and m's wouldn't hurt. Well we have been swimming and tomorrow we are heading to the zoo. It is going to be hot so doubt we will stay long. Jacob is so fair skinned and needs lots of sunscreen. lauren got a new tree swing and has been playing queen of the jungle. I even got on it and released my inner child. Luckily the branch and the swing held up. HA HA .... Tuesday Don and I are going to Tom Petty concert and we are looking forward to that a lot. Well enjoy the slide show of our adventures. Lauren and I are getting very brown and Don is really red. We are enjoying our pool and glad the water is finally warmer. Jacob still feels that the water is too cold. Well the summer isn't over yet. Enjoy the pics.

It is heating up and our summer has been in full swing. Lauren and I went to see Journey to the center of the earth in 3D and Jacob got the glasses as a cool toy. Yesterday we played outside most of the day and the kids drove their wheels and then we went swimming. The water was a bit cold but thats ok. We are going to the zoo this week and Lauren is going to Vacation Bible school for a few days. We are also taking her to see High School Musical at the Starlight it is a surprise for her. Jacob weighs 26lbs now and is in a size 3t so he is growing. I will have to take lauren clothes shopping before school starts. Since Jacob got the jeep we decided to get lauren a nintendo so she could play super mario brothers( a blaSt from the past for sure. Well tomorrow is a busy day.

Hey are summer has finally kicked into gear. We are done with our projects and beginning to enjoy our summer. the weather is getting a bit warmer and tomorrow we are off to the zoo again. Finally Enjoying my summer

Hi everyone, I finished my proposal for my disertation so now I am finally able to relax and enjoy my summer and it has proven to be a busy one already. Don has been busy doing projects around the house. He has replaced our gutter, done landscaping, painted and many more things. The kids are keeping me busy and keeping up with both of them is exhausting but a joy to do. Here are just a few pictures of our summer adventures. Our pool is almost ready to go but it hasn't been that warm so we will have to prob wait till July. We are looking forward to grandma Joy's visit.
